If you hold a YONDER piece, you can move $YONDER tokens from your main wallet to a fresh stealth address, then find and spend them later with the same keys that find your pieces. This feature appears after launch. Until then the button does not show on the site.
The Make my $YONDER private panel in My pieces is switched off in the site's settings today. Everything below describes how it works once it is switched on.
To start a new private send, the site checks that you hold at least one YONDER piece right now, either in the connected wallet or at a stealth address recovered from your keys. If your piece lives at a stealth address, press Scan my stealth pieces first so the site can see it.
This is a site licence, not a rule inside the token. $YONDER stays an ordinary ERC-20 that anyone can transfer. If you transfer your piece away, you can no longer start new private sends, but finding, recovering and spending tokens you already sent stays available.
Transfer event and the received balance.transfer(address,uint256) selector 0xa9059cbb (4 bytes), the token address (20 bytes) and the raw amount (32 bytes).The site shows public recovery material while it works. Save it before you close the page. It holds only public details: addresses, the ephemeral public key, the view tag, the amount, the chain and the transaction hashes. No key is in it.
If the transfer went through but the announcement did not, paste that material and press Recover / confirm saved transaction. It posts only the announcement and never sends a second transfer. Do not send again while a transfer's outcome is unknown. Tokens that were never announced cannot be found by scanning announcements.
Press Scan private balances. The site reads scheme 1 announcements in pages of 2,000 blocks, proves each match belongs to you with your view key and spending public key, and reads the current $YONDER balance at every address it finds. If it has not reached the oldest blocks yet, it labels the result partial; press again to keep going.
Each address the scan finds gets a recipient box, an amount box and a Spend button. Your browser rebuilds that stealth address's private key from your keys and signs the transfer there, separately from your main wallet. Before it broadcasts, the site saves the public intent and the transaction hash, so if the response is lost a retry confirms that same transaction instead of paying twice. That public spend record is kept in browser storage when available, and you can export it and import it after a reload. Check the recipient carefully before you press Spend.
A stealth address needs a small amount of native ETH to pay gas before it can spend. If you fund it from your main wallet, that top-up publicly links the two addresses. Relayer gas funding is not part of this feature, and a private relay is in development.
The private send itself also comes from your main wallet, so the transfer from your wallet to the stealth address is visible on chain.
Senders, destinations, balances and amounts are all public on chain. Making your $YONDER private means your tokens sit at fresh addresses that only your view key ties back to you in the announcements. It reduces address reuse. It is not a mixer, and a relayer on its own would not hide amounts either.
