Finding your piece

Your piece lands at an address nobody told you about, so the site finds it for you. It reads the public ERC-5564 announcements and checks each one with your view key, right in your browser. Nothing about your keys is sent to a server.

Status

How the scan works

  1. Your keys come back from one signature. If they are not already in this page's memory, the site asks your wallet to sign the same message as before, Yonder stealth keys v1 | chain <chainId> | account <your wallet, lowercase>. From it, your browser derives your spending key and your view key.
  2. It reads announcements in slices. The site reads the canonical Announcer's scheme 1 announcements 2,000 blocks at a time, starting from the newest blocks.
  3. The view tag filters fast. For each announcement, your browser combines the published ephemeral public key with your view key, and compares the first byte of the result with the announced view tag. A mismatch means that announcement is not yours, so it moves on.
  4. A match is proven, not guessed. When the tag matches, your browser derives the stealth address and checks that it equals the announced one, then checks it can rebuild that address's private key from your spending key. Only then is the piece listed as yours.

What never leaves your browser

All of these live in page memory only. They are not written to browser storage and not sent to any server. Switching wallet account, switching chain or disconnecting clears them, and the next scan asks for the signature again.

Seeing your pieces in My pieces

  1. Open Get my pieces and stay on the My pieces tab.
  2. Press Connect wallet and choose the wallet you bought with.
  3. Press Scan my stealth pieces, and sign once if your wallet asks.
  4. Each match shows as "Recovered piece" with its token id and its stealth address. If the scan did not reach the start of the chain, press the button again for older blocks until it says "End of chain."

To move a piece into an everyday wallet, the same signature rebuilds that stealth address's own private key in your browser. The move is its own transaction, so the stealth address needs a little ETH for gas. Funding it from your main wallet links the two addresses in public.

On a new device

There is nothing to export or import for your pieces. Your keys are not stored anywhere, so they come back the same way they were made: open the site on the new device, connect the same wallet account on the same chain, sign the same message, and scan. Recovery needs the original wallet account, the same chain, and a wallet that signs the same message the same way every time.

Limit

If you lose access to the wallet you bought with, you lose the way back to its stealth keys. There is no email reset. Private token sends also create public recovery material you should save; see Make your $YONDER private.
